1 billion people in the world will never see a health worker in their lifetime, and it’s not necessarily because the areas they live in have always lacked people with the proper training and skills. It’s because those people left.
Certain parts of the world are more affected by the health worker shortage than others, but don’t think this isn’t an issue in the United States too! They call them medical deserts, if you will.
